Indian exporters are purchasing W240 at Rs7000+VAT/excluding packing/11.340 kilo and W320 around Rs6350+VAT/excluding packing/11.340 kilo. Domestic pieces consumption is also increasing because of the wedding and ice-cream season. Market may witness pieces shortage in the second half of April.
Indian calendars prohibit auspicious celebrations in May and June but some important state elections and ever increasing Ramadan consumption might support the domestic pieces market during this period.
