Branch of Vietnam must import more than 50% of raw materials for processing

Next time, Vietnam cashew industry will have to continue to import more than 50% of raw material processing service. This is the information given at the workshop to discuss solutions for sustainable development in 2016 that Vietnam Cashew Association held yesterday (23/5). Currently serving of raw materials processing and export of Vietnam only meet about 50% of the processing capacity of the plant. Although, with the efforts of the whole agricultural sector, but the output is difficult to grow rapidly over the next 10 years as planned. Expected this year, Vietnam enterprises will import 870,000 tonnes of raw cashew nuts with a total value of more than 1.1 billion USD.
