Price Falls Below Rs100/Kilo for Rain Damaged Raw Cashew

Cashew harvest is continuing in Kerala and south interior Karnataka but the moisture content is said to be above 10%. Final out turn of such nuts is only 23%, which includes around 10% bluish and 10% dotted or semi waste grades.

On-port import price of dried Ivorian raw cashew is below Rs97/kilo/49 LBS/190 counts/ and below Rs104/kilo/50 LBS/185 counts in Cochin and Tuticorin ports.
